Call for Papers

The Collaborative Research Center (CRC) TR 224, the University of Mannheim, and the Mannheim Center for Macroeconomics and Finance are pleased to announce the Mannheim Workshop in Quantitative Macroeconomics: Economic Perspectives on Societal Challenges, to take place in Mannheim, on 18-19 May 2018.

The goal of this workshop is to provide a forum for junior economists based in Europe with a special interest in macroeconomics, and establish an academic network among this group.

Submissions are invited in any fields related to macroeconomics. Both theoretical and applied papers will be considered. Only papers not yet accepted for publication should be submitted.

The submission deadline is 15 February 2018. Interested authors are invited to send a complete or working paper in PDF format to mannheim.macro@gmail.com. When submitting the paper, please indicate whether you are willing to attend the workshop as a discussant. Acceptance will be notified by 31 March 2018. Accommodation and dinner will be provided. There is no registration fee for the workshop. Further information about the workshop (including our programs in the previous years) is available via the webpage: mannheimmacro.github.io.

The organizers gratefully acknowledge the financial support from the DFG Collaborative Research Center Transregio 224.

Please feel free to contact Andreas Gulyas, Matthias Meier or Krzysztof Pytka if you have any questions.
